Marald Merlot 2021

We are thrilled to introduce our Merlot 2021! 

Manufactured by our brand new boutique winery located in Pretoria, South Africa. We believe in “local is lekker” and see absolutely no reason why a great wine cannot be made right here in the Jacaranda City!

Tasting Notes

This wine is a deep red colour with long stained tears. Characteristic green character of Anise and violet picked up sensorially, followed by fruity aromas of raspberry, black cherry and plum. Light wooded aromas of cedar and a smoked character also come through as secondary aromas.

Fruity aromas picked up sensorially follow through to the palate with a velvety finish, lingering finish. This wine is medium bodied.
