The Krémist - Vanilla Cream Ale

The Krémist - Vanilla Cream Ale was an experimental brew that tastes just like vanilla cream pie. Brewed by an actual mad scientist (Gerhard), this craft beer is the perfect companion for those with a sweet tooth.  It's a vanilla cream ale that tastes like dessert. Packed with the perfect amount of vanilla subtlety, this brew is dangerously drinkable. It's no surprise that it's the best-selling vanilla beer in South Africa. The Krémist is brewed with the finest malted barley, hops, lactose milk sugar and yeast. It's golden in color and topped off with a rich, creamy head, creating the perfect balance between body and flavour. The taste is clean and refreshing with hints of vanilla. It's perfect for any occasion — from a hot summer day to cold holiday season.

The Krémist - Inspiration

A long while back there was a brewery called No. 3 Fransen Street Brewery. It was the specialized testing and craft brewery operated by South African Breweries (SAB) in Krugersdorp. Launched in 2014, it produced small-batch specialty beers like Irish Red Ale, Cream Ale, and Krystal Weiss. The brand has been discontinued, and the beers are no longer available. Since then, there was a huge gap for a vanilla cream ale that was created. We immediately jumped on the opportunity and decided that we're going to try and fulfil this gap and boy, did we succeed!
